Throughout the year the Lake Taupo rivers hold spectacular numbers of both brown and Rainbow trout but peak in numbers from June - October as they migrate from the lake itself into the rivers for their annual spawning run. 

​

Learn or refine the art of Czech nymphing, single or double handed spey and Indicator style nymphing.

 

A Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) , satellite communicator and a comprehensive first aid kit are carried at all times.

​

A full day includes guiding, 4WD vehicle transport pick-up from your accommodation and drop-off, wader/boot hire

stream-side lunch, snacks and refreshments.

If you require wader and boot hire I stock a full size range of high quality breathable waders and good sturdy, supportive wading boots.
