Throughout the year, Taupo fisheries hold good numbers of both brown and Rainbow trout but peak in numbers from June - October as they migrate from the lake itself into the rivers for their annual spawning run.

An amazing place to learn and experience fly fishing or refine your skills.

Learn the art of Czech Nymphing, single or double handed spey and Indicator style nymphing

 

A Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) , satellite communicator and a comprehensive first aid kit are carried at all times.

A full day includes guiding, 4WD vehicle transport pick-up from your accomodation and drop-off, wader/boot hire

stream-side lunch, snacks and refreshments.

If you require wader and boot hire I stock a full size range of high quality breathable waders and good sturdy, supportive wading boots.
