Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancelled bookings are extremely difficult to fill at short notice. My season of fly fishing is part of my living so I need to cover myself for lost days through cancellation outside my control.

       I will do my absolute best to change days if that is at all possible.

       I recommend travel insurance as an absolute essential to cover you if this unfortunate situation presents itself.

•  Cancellations greater than 30 days from fishing dates​ will be refunded full deposit less a booking fee of $50

•  Cancellations within 30 days of fishing dates  will incur a 50% cancellation fee to all fishing days booked.

•  Cancellations within 14 days of fishing dates will incur a 100% cancellation fee to all fishing days booked.
   

As guides we pride ourselves on having an in-depth understanding of weather patterns, and river conditions so is very rare to have virtually no water available that is fishable, unless the country is experiencing a comprehensive weather bomb. If the rivers are considered unsafe by the guide prior to the trip, a full refund will be made if an alternative trip cannot be arranged.

- Altitude Fly Fishing accepts no liability for loss or broken of any gear during a guided trip. Please make sure you have travel insurance! -

Payment

• Altitude Fly Fishing requires a non refundable $300 deposit per individual fishing day booked to confirm your trip. This can be made via direct credit (internet bank transfer) or Paypal. Please add 4% if paying by Paypal.

      NB: No fishing days are secure until a deposit has been paid uppon request.

• Any payment made via credit card (paypal/stripe) will incur a 4% fee including deposit unless paid via direct bank credit or cash. This will be charged and the completion of the trip

• Full payment of guide fees and any extra client costs that incur will be charged at completion of the trip.

​

• If staying away from my base all client and guides accomodation/meals will be charged at the completion of the trip.
